Q: What is a cake tasting box? Is there a fee?

A: Selecting your wedding cake is one sweetest part of planning your wedding. Our cake tasting box contains 3 distinct cake flavors, meticulously chosen by the chef. Please kindly share your preferences, highlighting your cherished flavors and any to be avoided, allowing us to curate a tailored tasting box that resonates with your desires.  The cake tasting fee is $60, including delivery within San Luis Obispo city. Please note that while we strive to accommodate your needs, the availability of the cake tasting box is contingent upon our schedule.

Q: Can we discuss details in person?

Yes! A cake consultation meeting will give you the opportunity to discuss your wedding and your dream cake while enjoying the delicious cake samples. This meeting,  lasting approximately 30 minutes. The cost is $100(tasting inncluded). During this dedicated time, we'll explore various elements together, including the cake's shape, size, flavor palette, and design intricacies. Additionally, we'll walk you through the seamless ordering process, ensuring that your journey towards the perfect cake is smooth and stress-free. Furthermore, we're genuinely interested in hearing more about your unique love story. Your narrative serves as a crucial source of inspiration, enabling us to craft a wedding cake that's a genuine reflection of your journey together. Your tale becomes the foundation upon which we build a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece. As we embark on this collaborative adventure, your aspirations and personal history will guide us towards creating a cake that transcends expectations and leaves a lasting impression on your special day.


Q: How much does a wedding cake cost?
A: The price of your cake is determined by many factors, the most important being the number and size of tiers as well as your design choice (choice of flavor, decoration technique, decorations materials, bridges or cake stands, purchase of cake toppers, frosting or handmade sugar flowers, and delivery). As you can see, with all these intricate details, the price of your cake will vary. Our minimum order amount is $300. 

Q: Could you deliver and set up the cake?
A:  We’d love to deliver the cake and desserts to your venue and set up the dessert table. The delivery and set up fees are depending on the number of desserts/size of the cake and the distance, starting from $100.


​Q: What's your deposit policy?

A: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your wedding date, which will be applied to your final balance. All orders under $400.00 are due in full at the time of booking. The full balance is due one month prior to the delivery date. Failure of making payment on time may result in cancellation of your order. 

Gluten-Free Disclaimer: Autumn Cake Design is unable to guarantee a 'gluten-free' environment in our facility due to the potential for cross-contamination with gluten-containing products. We strive to produce and package our gluten-free products in an environment with the lowest risk of possible cross-contamination.

Cancellation Policy: Notification of cancellation must be made 14 days prior to the delivery date; after which 100% of total monies are forfeited and cannot be used toward any future cake purchases. If cancellation made 14 days before the delivery date, your refund is your prepayment less your deposit and 15% cancellation fee.
